The Kelly Cup Playoffs' Eastern & Western Conference Finals are set after only one division final went 7 games. The conference finals begin Friday, May 22 in Kansas City and Florida, as the Mavericks and Everblades host the Komets and Nailers respectively. Western Conference

Mountain Division:

Kansas City Mavericks (1) vs Allen Americans (2)

The Mavericks continue their dominating form, which saw them capture the Brabham Cup for most points in the league, and now the Mavericks have swept their first 2 opponents in the Kelly Cup Playoffs. KC will await the winner of Fort Wayne and Toledo to face in the Western Conference Final.

Central Division:

Fort Wayne Komets (1) vs Toledo Walleye (2)

After the Komets rushed out to a 3-0 series lead over Toledo, the Walleye made their way back into the series, winning games 4 and 5 at home. It wasn’t enough though, and Fort Wayne closed out the series last night at home to book a spot in the Western Conference Final against KC.

The Everblades prove to be the checkpoint for all teams in the South Division, Florida has an 8-1 record against their opponents thus far in the Kelly Cup Playoffs and look to continue their success vs Wheeling in the next round. Since 2017-18, the Everblades have made the conference finals in 6 of 8 seasons – one miss from the Covid-cancelled playoffs, one in 20/21.

Wheeling Nailers (1) vs Maine Mariners (2)

In an exciting 7 game series where the home team won all games – the Wheeling Nailers outlasted the Maine Mariners 4-3 in game 7 to secure their spot in the Eastern Conference finals – and a matchup with the Florida Everblades. The series featured 3 OT games – one of those going to 2OT!
