Kansas City Mavericks (1) vs Fort Wayne Komets (1)
After splitting the first 2 games of the series, the Mavericks hold a strong 3-1 series lead and look to clinch their spot in the Kelly Cup Final. KC was the league’s strongest team this year, though Fort Wayne can push the series back to the Mavericks home ice with a win this Sunday. Games 6 & 7 will be in KC. The Komets have the top 2 points-leaders for the Playoffs – Austin Magera with 20 pts, William Dufour has 18.

Florida Everblades vs. Wheeling Nailers
The Everblades held their home ice advantage over Wheeling after winning the first 2 games in Estero, FL. This series is a difference from the Western Conference, with the goalies for Florida (Cam Johnson) and Wheeling (Taylor Gauthier) playing their best hockey in this low-scoring series. The Nailers hope to hold their own on home ice when the series returns to Wheeling for the next 3 games.
