TRENTON, N.J. (September 22, 2026) - Trenton’s newest professional sports team, the Trenton Ironhawks, officially unveiled their 2026-27 promotional schedule ahead of the team’s inaugural season.

The Ironhawks are turning CURE Insurance Arena into the place to be all season long. The calendar includes more than 30 promotional and theme nights, with celebrations honoring veterans, first responders, educators, youth hockey, military personnel, women in sports, cultural heritage, and more. Single-game tickets and season ticket memberships for all Ironhawks 2026-27 home games are on sale now at www.trentonironhawks.com/tickets or in-person at the CURE Insurance Arena Box Office, Monday - Friday, 11am - 4pm, while supplies last. 

The Trenton Ironhawks will play their inaugural home opener at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, N.J., on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The puck drops at 6 p.m. vs. Adirondack.

OCTOBER

The promotional schedule will begin with the Inaugural Game on Saturday, October 24 vs. Adirondack. One week later, Hawkey’s Halloween Party on Saturday, October 31 vs. Adirondack will bring the first themed night of the season to CURE Insurance Arena.

NOVEMBER

November will feature Celebrate the Titans on Friday, November 6 vs. Wheeling, followed by Veterans Appreciation Day on Wednesday, November 11 vs. Reading. The Ironhawks will host Pregame with the Ironhawks on Wednesday, November 25 vs. Reading, before Teachers and Educators Appreciation on Friday, November 27 vs. Trois-Rivières. The month will close with a Family Matinee: Peanuts on Sunday, November 29 vs. Reading.

DECEMBER

The holiday season will bring a packed December schedule, beginning with Union Night on Friday, December 4 vs. Norfolk. The Ironhawks will celebrate New Jersey’s hockey community with Youth Hockey Night on Saturday, December 5 vs. Norfolk, followed by Hawkey’s Holiday Party / Winter Wonderland: Sing for Santa on Sunday, December 6 vs. Norfolk.

The December schedule will continue with Hanukkah & Hockey on Thursday, December 10 vs. Trois-Rivières, followed by Scout Night / Teddy Bear Toss on Friday, December 11 vs. Trois-Rivières. Marvel Night on Sunday, December 13 vs. Reading will give fans another opportunity to celebrate at CURE Insurance Arena, while State of New Jersey Night / Seasons of Giving on Wednesday, December 16 vs. Reading will continue the holiday celebrations.

The month will continue with Wizards Night on Saturday, December 26 vs. Worcester, before the Ironhawks celebrate the New Year early with Celebrate New Year’s Eve Early on Tuesday, December 29 vs. Greensboro.

JANUARY

The Ironhawks will continue celebrating their community in January with a Surprise Theme Night on Saturday, January 2 vs. Trois-Rivières, followed by Squishy Night / K-Pop Night on Sunday, January 3 vs. Trois-Rivières.

Women in Sports Night on Tuesday, January 12 vs. Reading will highlight women’s contributions to athletics and the sports industry, followed by Faith & Family on Friday, January 15 vs. Adirondack. The weekend will feature First Responders & Medical Professionals on Saturday, January 16 vs. Greensboro, and a Family Matinee / Hot Wheels on Sunday, January 17 vs. Greensboro.

The month will also feature Golf Night on Friday, January 22 vs. Maine, followed by “We’re From Jersey Baby” Night on Saturday, January 23 vs. Maine. January will close with the 43 Oak Classic on Sunday, January 24 vs. Maine.

FEBRUARY

February will bring a mix of specialty themes and community celebrations, beginning with SLAPSHOT Night / 50th Anniversary on Friday, February 19 vs. Greenville. Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, February 20 vs. Greenville will follow, with a Family Matinee: Shrek scheduled for Sunday, February 21 vs. Greenville.

The Ironhawks will host School Day on Thursday, February 25 vs. Kalamazoo, before Girl Scout Night on Saturday, February 27 vs. Maine. February will conclude with Baseball Day with the Trenton Thunder / Disney Princesses on Sunday, February 28 vs. Maine.

MARCH

March will feature Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Friday, March 5 vs. Wheeling, followed by Romance Novel Night on Saturday, March 6 vs. Wheeling. The weekend will conclude with Hawkey’s Shamrock Smash! on Sunday, March 7 vs. Wheeling.

APRIL

The final weekend of the regular season will celebrate Italian Heritage Celebration on Saturday, April 3 vs. Worcester, before the Ironhawks close out the promotional calendar with Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday, April 4 vs. Worcester.

Several additional events throughout the season will provide opportunities for fans of all ages to experience Ironhawks hockey in a different way, including postgame activities, family matinees and community-focused celebrations. The team is expected to finalize giveaways at a later time. 

Fans have several options to experience the Ironhawks’ inaugural season at CURE Insurance Arena, including Single Game Tickets, Season Memberships, 10-Game Flex Plans, and Group Tickets. Single Game Tickets are available now for all 36 regular-season home games. Season Memberships are available in full and half-season options and can be secured with a 25% deposit. The 10-Game Flex Plan includes Opening Night plus nine additional games of the fan’s choice, while Group Tickets are available for groups of 10 or more with special pricing and perks.
